went in to have a tooth examined. The assistant took an X-ray, and Mr. Devita briefly reviewed it, stating the tooth needed to be extracted. I was in the chair for less than five minutes, and the doctor never even looked inside my mouth. Later, I received a bill that my dental insurance didn’t fully cover. The X-ray was paid in full, but the charge for an “extended dental evaluation” was denied, as my plan only covers one per year. When I contacted my insurance company, they explained that an extended evaluation typically requires at least 20 minutes of the provider’s time — which clearly did not happen in my case. I reached out to the dental office to clarify, and was told they were aware the evaluation wasn’t performed, but that I still had to pay because I was “paying for the doctor’s education.” Six months later, the unpaid bill was sent to a debt collector. I hope everyone checks the reviews and stays away from this practice.

My 1st root canal. Dr. Devita and his associates were very professional and most importantly very painless. The Doctor and his assistant took their time and explained everything very thoroughly and reduced my anxiety level prior to starting. The office staff was very accommodating in setting my appointment up, getting me in as I was going out of town a few days later. This helped me take care of the problem immediately instead of waiting a few weeks.

My experience here was excellent. I was taken in on time for my appt, the staff was incredible, doc was incredibly nice and obviously extremely talented, the office itself was stylish and thankfully not kept at a freezing temp like most places. The root canal team worked like a well -oiled machine and my procedure took about as little time as it possibly could. I was amazed! I sure hope I don't need to get any more root canal work done, but if I do, I would not hesitate to see Dr. DeVita again!!
